Job Description
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
- Operate welding equipment such as MIG, TIG, and stick welders to join metal parts.
- Perform cutting, shaping, and finishing of metal components using hand tools and machinery.
- Inspect welded joints for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain and clean welding equipment and work area.
- Follow safety protocols and wear proper protective gear.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments as needed to complete projects on time.
Other Requirements
- Proven experience as a welder or similar role.- Knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various positions (standing, bending, or kneeling).
- Relevant certification(s) (e.g., AWS) preferred.
