Job Description

- Operate and monitor drilling equipment, including draw-works, rotary table, top drive, mud pumps, and associated systems

- Supervise and coordinate drilling crew during drilling, tripping, casing, and well-control operations

- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, well-control standards, and environmental regulations

- Monitor drilling parameters (ROP, WOB, torque, pressure, mud properties) and respond to abnormal conditions

- Conduct and participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and risk assessments

- Maintain accurate drilling logs, reports, and operational records

- Ensure proper maintenance and inspection of drilling equipment

- Respond effectively to emergencies, including well-control incidents

- Train and mentor junior crew members as required

- Coordinate with mud engineers, directional drillers, and service company personnel
