Job Description

- Operate, monitor, and maintain mud pumps, motors, and related equipment

- Inspect, service, and repair pumps, valves, liners, pistons, pulsation dampeners, and fluid ends

- Monitor mud system performance, pressures, and flow rates during drilling operations

- Assist in maintaining mud pits, shale shakers, agitators, and mixing systems

- Report equipment defects, abnormal pressures, or leaks to the Driller or Assistant Driller

- Perform routine maintenance, lubrication, and preventative maintenance tasks

- Ensure all pump room and mud system activities comply with safety and environmental procedures

- Maintain good housekeeping standards in the pump room and mud areas

- Assist during well-control operations and emergency situations as required

- Complete maintenance logs and handover reports
