Job Description

- Work in the derrick during tripping operations to rack and unrack drill pipe and collars

- Monitor and maintain drilling fluid (mud) properties in coordination with the Mud Engineer

- Operate and maintain mud mixing equipment, shale shakers, centrifuges, and related solids control systems

- Take regular mud samples and conduct routine mud checks

- Assist in mixing chemicals and maintaining mud pits and tanks

- Perform inspections and basic maintenance of derrick and mud system equipment

- Assist with drill floor operations when required

- Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping, and environmental compliance

- Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and emergency drills

- Report unsafe conditions, equipment defects, and operational issues to the Assistant Driller or Driller
