Job Description

- Assist the Driller in all drilling, tripping, casing, cementing, and well-control operations

- Supervise rig floor crew during drilling operations and ensure tasks are performed safely and efficiently

- Operate drilling equipment such as top drive, draw-works, rotary table, mud pumps, and BOP controls as directed

- Monitor drilling parameters including weight on bit, torque, pump pressure, and mud properties

- Maintain well-control readiness and assist during well-control situations and drills

- Conduct toolbox talks and ensure adherence to Permit to Work (PTW) and safety procedures

- Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained on the drill floor

- Complete drilling reports, logs, and handover notes as required

- Assist with inspection, maintenance, and testing of drilling equipment

- Train and mentor floor crew (derrickmen, roughnecks)
