Job Description
- Supervise and lead the quality control team in performing inspections, testing, and audits.
- Review and interpret project specifications, drawings, and quality standards to ensure compliance.
- Conduct inspections and tests on materials, equipment, and finished products at various stages of construction or production.
- Identify quality issues, document discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain and update quality control documentation, reports, and inspection logs.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve quality issues and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct regular site audits and review the work of junior inspectors to ensure adherence to quality protocols.
- Review and approve inspection and test plans (ITPs), quality records, and reports.
- Ensure all quality-related activities are carried out in compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide training and guidance to junior quality control inspectors and other personnel as needed.
- Assist in the preparation for third-party inspections or audits.
Other Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.- 5–10 years of experience in quality control inspection, with at least 3 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Relevant certifications in quality control (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of quality control techniques, standards, and best practices.
- Experience in industries such as construction, manufacturing, oil & gas, or similar sectors.
