Permit to Work Management - Implement and manage the Permit to Work system on site - Review, issue, authorize, suspend, and close work permits - Ensure all permits are correctly completed and approved before work starts - Verify that required risk assessments (JSA/JHA) and method statements are in place Site Supervision & Safety - Supervise high-risk activities (e.g., hot work, confined space entry, electrical work, lifting operations, work at height) - Ensure compliance with permit conditions and safety controls - Conduct site inspections to verify safe work practices - Stop work if unsafe conditions or permit violations are observed Coordination & Communication - Coordinate with site management, HSE officers, contractors, and workers - Conduct toolbox talks and pre-job briefings related to permit conditions - Ensure workers understand hazards, controls, and emergency procedures Compliance & Documentation - Maintain accurate PTW records and logs - Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and legal regulations - Support audits, inspections, and incident investigations - Report safety violations, near misses, and incidents
