Job Description

- Perform and lead quality inspections across mechanical, piping, structural, or E&I disciplines (depending on assignment).
- Ensure all works comply with:
Project specifications
ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans)
Approved drawings and procedures
International codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, AWS, IEC)
Conduct inspections for:
Material receiving (MTC verification, visual checks)
Fabrication and welding works
Piping installation and alignment
Structural steel erection
Mechanical equipment installation
Instrument and electrical installation (if multi-discipline role)
- Witness and verify testing activities such as:
Hydrotesting
Pneumatic testing
NDT (RT, UT, PT, MT)
Torqueing and bolt tensioning
- Review and verify QC documentation including:
Inspection reports
Weld maps
NDT reports
Calibration certificates
As-built documentation
- Ensure proper implementation of ITP hold points and witness points.
- Identify non-conformances (NCRs) and ensure corrective actions are implemented and closed out.
- Liaise with client representatives and third-party inspectors during inspections and audits.
- Ensure proper traceability of materials, welds, and components.
- Support punch listing and mechanical completion activities.
- Participate in site audits and quality surveillance activities.
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements during inspection activities.
