Role Purpose
To lead technical marketing and business development activities by promoting the company’s engineering services and represented technical product brands. The role focuses on market development, brand positioning, tender support, and client engagement by translating technical capabilities and product offerings into competitive, client-focused solutions across oil & gas and non-oil & gas sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Marketing & Brand Management
Develop and execute marketing strategies for technical services and represented product brands
Promote technical products, equipment, and solutions to clients, consultants, and end users
Manage product positioning, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies for assigned brands
Coordinate with principals / OEMs on product updates, certifications, and marketing materials
Business Development & Client Engagement
Identify new business opportunities for technical services and product supply
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and technical product briefings
Support channel development, partnerships, and vendor registrations
Gather market intelligence on competitor products, pricing, and trends
Tender & Proposal Support
Lead and coordinate technical marketing inputs for tenders, RFQs, and proposals
Integrate product offerings into tender solutions where applicable
Coordinate with engineering, operations, HSE, and procurement teams for technical inputs
Ensure proposals clearly highlight technical advantages, compliance, and differentiators
Market Intelligence & Strategy
Monitor market trends, client requirements, and upcoming projects
Provide input for bid/no-bid decisions and product selection strategies
Support development of marketing collateral, brochures, case studies, and presentations
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marketing, Business, or related discipline
Minimum 5+ years of experience in technical marketing, product marketing, or business development
Strong understanding of mechanical engineering, maintenance services, or industrial products
Experience marketing technical or industrial product brands and supporting tenders
Added Advantage:
Exposure to oil & gas, industrial maintenance, facilities management, utilities, or infrastructure sectors
Experience working with OEMs, principals, or authorized distributors
Familiarity with both service-based and product-based business models
