- Supervise and coordinate all electrical maintenance and repair activities onboard.
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of:
Power generation systems
Switchboards
Motors
MCCs (Motor Control Centers)
Drilling electrical systems
Lighting systems
Emergency power systems
- Control panels and distribution systems
- Troubleshoot complex electrical faults and equipment failures.
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
- Lead and supervise electricians and electrical technicians.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and offshore regulations.
- Review electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with drilling, mechanical, marine, and maintenance departments.
- Monitor spare parts and electrical inventory requirements.
- Support rig startup, shutdown, and commissioning activities.
- Participate in emergency response and safety drills.
- Prepare maintenance reports, permits, and technical documentation.
