Job Description
- Monitor daily offshore activities to ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
- Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
- Ensure proper implementation of:
Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems
Toolbox talks
Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
Emergency response procedures
Investigate incidents, accidents, near misses, and unsafe acts/conditions.
- Prepare safety reports, observations, and incident documentation.
- Conduct safety inductions and awareness training for personnel.
- Monitor the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Participate in emergency drills and coordinate emergency response activities.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and waste management requirements.
- Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and client representatives on HSSE matters.
- Promote a strong safety culture onboard and intervene in unsafe activities when necessary.
Other Requirements
Diploma or degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or related field preferred.Experience in offshore, marine, construction, or oil & gas safety operations.
Knowledge of offshore safety standards and regulations.
Familiar with PTW systems, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
Strong communication and reporting skills.
