Job Description

- Assist the Crane Operator during lifting and cargo handling operations.
- Help in loading, unloading, and transferring equipment, containers, pipes, and materials.
- Conduct pre-use inspections of cranes, lifting gear, slings, shackles, and hooks.
- Support routine maintenance and cleanliness of crane equipment.
- Assist in monitoring lifting zones and ensuring safe work practices.
- Communicate with riggers, banksmen, deck crew, and crane operators during operations.
- Ensure lifting activities comply with lifting plans and HSSE procedures.
- Help secure loads and organize deck cargo safely.
- Participate in toolbox talks, emergency drills, and safety meetings.
- Report unsafe conditions, damaged lifting gear, or operational issues.
