Job Description

- Perform welding works using approved welding procedures and techniques.
- Carry out fabrication, repair, and maintenance of:
Structural steel
Piping systems
Equipment frames
Offshore structures
Platforms and rig components
- Operate welding equipment such as:
SMAW (Stick Welding)
GTAW/TIG
GMAW/MIG
FCAW
- Read and interpret welding drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Prepare metal surfaces by cutting, grinding, and fitting materials before welding.
- Inspect welds for defects and perform corrective work when required.
- Ensure compliance with welding quality standards and safety procedures.
- Maintain welding tools, machines, and consumables properly.
- Follow Permit-to-Work (PTW), hot work procedures, and HSSE requirements.
- Participate in toolbox talks and emergency drills
