Job Description

- The Fluids Technical Manager or Subject Technical Expert who shall be responsible for the technical assurance, support, and continual improvement of drilling and completion fluids operations
- The Subject Matter Expertise is responsible in the selection, formulation, and application of drilling and completion fluids systems.
- Ensuring all fluid designs are technically sound, environmentally compliant, and aligned with the assigned drilling programs.
- Reviewing and validating the mud formulations prior to submission to Client for approval.
- Advising Client and also the field personnel on optimal fluid properties, mixing procedures, and performance targets.
- Leading root cause analysis for non-conformance, fluid-related well issues, or operational failures.
- Supporting laboratory evaluations and pilot tests for new fluids, additives, or technologies.
- Identifying and recommending continuous improvement opportunities and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Ensuring the fluids technology and operational procedures remain aligned with industry best practices and standards.
- Assisting in the training and mentoring of the personnel to maintain technical competency.
- Reviewing and endorsing technical documentation including fluid reports, treatment records, and post-well performance summaries.
- Supporting Client during technical audits, peer reviews, and post-well evaluations.
- Maintaining availability for Client's consultation during critical operations or troubleshooting phases.
