Job Description

- Supervise and coordinate all cementing operations at the worksite, ensuring adherence to approved job programs.

- Conduct toolbox talk with crew and client representatives to review job objectives, risks, and safety protocols.

- Ensure all cementing equipment, materials, and personnel are fully prepared, inspected, and ready before job execution.

- Monitor mixing and pumping operations, verify pressures, volumes, and flow rates, and ensure compliance with job design.

- Respond to unexpected conditions or issues during execution with immediate corrective action and technical troubleshooting.

- Direct and lead the cementing crew on-site, including field operators, bulk plant personnel, and third-party contractors.

- Ensure that all personnel follow safety procedures and wear proper PPE.

- Provide on-the-job training and guidance to junior field staff and support development of local crews.

- Verify calibration, pressure testing, and maintenance of cementing equipment, pumps, and lab tools before use.

- Confirm the availability and proper handling of cement blends, additives, and displacement fluids.

- Manage rig-up and rig-down of equipment in compliance with operational and HSE standards.

- Maintain direct communication with the company man / wellsite supervisor and other service providers.

- Ensure real-time updates are communicated clearly to the office-based engineering and coordination teams.

- Prepare and submit daily job reports, cementing logs, and any incident or deviation reports.

- Participate in post-job evaluations and lessons-learned reviews.

- Lead by example in adhering to HSE policies and promoting a strong safety culture on location.

- Participate in site-specific risk assessments, toolbox talks, and job safety analyses (JSAs).

- Ensure all operations are conducted in accordance with the client’s and company’s safety and quality standards.
