Job Description

Conduct daily inspections of scaffolding systems to ensure they meet safety regulations and company standards.

Identify and report any hazards, defects, or non-compliance issues related to scaffold installations.

Certify scaffolds for use, tagging them appropriately based on inspection outcomes.

Maintain accurate records of scaffold inspections, including detailed reports and photographic evidence.

Work closely with scaffold erectors and site supervisors to correct any issues or unsafe conditions.

Ensure that all scaffold work complies with relevant local, national, and international safety standards (e.g., OSHA, ANSI, BS EN).

Provide guidance and safety training related to scaffold usage and inspection procedures.

Participate in risk assessments, audits, and safety meetings as required.
