Job Description

- Supervise daily execution of flange management and mechanical integrity activities at site.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor hydraulic bolt torquing/tensioning activities, ensuring correct torque/tension values and proper equipment calibration.
- Supervise flange facing and machining works, including on-site flange repair, resurfacing, and dimensional checks.
- Oversee composite repair activities for piping, pipelines, vessels, and other mechanical assets in accordance with approved repair procedures and manufacturer requirements.
- Coordinate CUI inspection, identification, assessment, and remediation activities.
- Supervise removal, installation, and reinstatement of thermal insulation and weatherproofing systems.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with approved Method Statements, Risk Assessments, ITPs, procedures, and work packs.
- Review drawings, specifications, inspection reports, flange registers, and other relevant technical documentation.
- Ensure flange assemblies are correctly identified, inspected, aligned, assembled, torqued/tensioned, and documented.
- Monitor the condition and certification of torquing pumps, hydraulic tensioners, flange-facing machines, composite repair equipment, and other specialist tools.
- Coordinate with Asset Integrity, Maintenance, Inspection, Engineering, QA/QC, HSE, and Operations teams.
- Supervise subcontractors and technicians, ensuring manpower and resources are effectively utilized.
- Conduct toolbox talks, pre-job meetings, and daily work coordination.
- Ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW), JSA/JHA, SIMOPS, isolation, LOTO, and site HSE requirements.
- Monitor work progress against approved schedules and report delays, constraints, and technical issues.
- Verify completed work and ensure all required inspection records, torque charts, equipment certificates, repair records, photographs, and completion documentation are properly compiled.
- Identify potential integrity threats and recommend appropriate corrective or preventive actions.
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolution of flange leakage, damaged flange faces, bolting issues, CUI findings, insulation defects, and composite repair concerns.
- Ensure quality control and inspection requirements are met before equipment is returned to service.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and/or project completion reports as required.
- Promote safe working practices and maintain a high standard of housekeeping and worksite control.
