- Provide freelance IT support and technical assistance to users and project teams.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, laptops, printers, network equipment, and other IT devices.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and system-related issues.
- Support the setup and maintenance of local area networks (LAN), Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, and other IT infrastructure.
- Install, configure, and update operating systems, software applications, and security tools.
- Perform routine system maintenance, updates, backups, and basic data recovery when required.
- Monitor IT equipment and systems to identify potential technical issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Assist with user account setup, access permissions, password resets, and basic IT security controls.
- Provide guidance and basic training to users on IT systems, applications, and cybersecurity practices.
- Maintain records of IT assets, equipment, software licences, maintenance activities, and technical issues.
- Liaise with external IT vendors, service providers, and contractors where specialised support is required.
- Ensure IT systems and equipment are maintained in accordance with organisational policies and security requirements.
- Provide on-site or remote technical support depending on project requirements.
- Complete assigned IT projects, installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting tasks within agreed timelines.
- Prepare basic technical reports and recommendations as required.
- Perform other IT-related duties assigned by the client or project supervisor.
