The Sales Executive is responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining existing client relationships, promoting company products and services, and achieving sales targets. The role involves identifying potential clients, preparing quotations and proposals, following up on enquiries, and supporting the company’s overall business development activities.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, referrals and client visits.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients and key accounts.
- Promote and present the company’s products, services and capabilities to potential and existing clients.
- Attend client meetings, site visits, exhibitions and industry events when required.
- Respond to customer enquiries and prepare quotations, proposals and commercial submissions.
- Follow up on quotations, proposals and outstanding enquiries to support business conversion.
- Understand customer requirements and coordinate with internal technical and operations teams to develop suitable solutions.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities and potential business opportunities.
- Maintain an updated database of clients, prospects, sales leads and opportunities.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts and updates for management.
- Negotiate commercial terms with clients within approved company guidelines.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure smooth delivery of products or services to clients.
- Follow up on customer feedback, satisfaction and after-sales requirements.
- Support tender submissions and business development activities where applicable.
- Achieve agreed sales targets, KPIs and business development objectives.
- Perform other sales and business development duties as assigned by management.
