Job Description

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.

Troubleshoot electrical faults using testing devices like multimeters, clamp meters, and insulation testers.

Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, transformers, switchgear, lighting systems, and other electrical infrastructure.

Read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawings.

Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes, as well as safety standards.

Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits to ensure compatibility and safety.

Work collaboratively with engineers, supervisors, and other tradespeople on installation and project execution.

Assist with energy efficiency improvements and electrical upgrades.

Maintain accurate records of work completed, including service reports and logs.
