Job Description

- Act as the primary company representative for all diving operations at site (offshore or onshore).
- Ensure all diving activities comply with:
- Company policies and procedures
- International diving standards (e.g., IMCA guidelines)
- Local regulatory requirements
- Review and approve:
- Diving plans
- Risk assessments (RA)
- Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
- Monitor diving contractor performance and ensure adherence to contractual scope.
- Verify that all diving personnel are qualified, certified, and medically fit.
- Ensure proper inspection and certification of diving equipment and life-support systems.
- Oversee safety during operations, including:
- Emergency response readiness
- Hyperbaric evacuation plans
- Liaise with offshore teams such as:
- Vessel management
- Project engineers
- HSE personnel
- Maintain accurate records of:
- Dive logs
- Incidents and near-misses
- Daily operational reports
- Stop any operation that poses immediate risk to personnel, environment, or assets.
- Participate in audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
