Job Description

MKJ Technical Services is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Business Development Executive to support the growth of our Trading Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and expanding our presence across various industry sectors.

Key Responsibilities

* Identify and pursue new business opportunities within Oil & Gas, Energy, Government, GLC, Industrial, Marine, Construction, and Private sectors.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, procurement teams, project stakeholders, and decision-makers.
* Conduct regular client visits and meetings to understand customer requirements and upcoming opportunities.
* Promote the company's products, services, and capabilities to existing and prospective clients.
* Work closely with the internal team to develop proposals, quotations, and commercial solutions.
* Support negotiations, presentations, and business discussions with clients and partners.
* Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities and provide regular updates on business development activities.
* Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who enjoys meeting people, building relationships, and creating opportunities. The ideal candidate should be proactive in engaging clients, identifying business prospects, and helping the company expand its market presence. Experience in industrial products, technical services, trading, or related sectors will be an added advantage.

Other Requirements

* Diploma or Degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or a similar client-facing role.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
* Ability to develop relationships and engage confidently with clients at different levels.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
* Knowledge of Brunei's Oil & Gas, Industrial, Government, or Commercial sectors will be an advantage.
* Possess a valid driving licence and willingness to travel for client meetings.
