Job Description

Proposal Development: Lead the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for prospective clients, ensuring they align with project specifications, timelines, and budget requirements.
Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, engineering, and project management teams to gather technical data, assess project scope, and define the approach for each proposal.
Technical Analysis: Analyze client requirements and provide technical recommendations and solutions that meet their needs, ensuring all technical aspects of the proposal are correct.
Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and overheads, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing within the proposal.
Documentation and Submission: Coordinate the production of proposal documentation, ensuring it is clear, professional, and adheres to company and client standards. Submit proposals within the set deadlines.
Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks associated with the proposal and suggest mitigations to ensure feasibility and minimize potential issues during project execution.
Client Communication: Act as a point of contact for clients during the proposal phase, answering any technical questions or clarifications they may have.
Compliance and Standards: Ensure all proposals comply with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
Presentation: Assist in presenting proposals to clients, either in written or verbal formats, and contribute to discussions during client meetings.
Continuous Improvement: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to incorporate into proposals, improving competitiveness and innovation.

Other Requirements

Strong technical background with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, client-friendly language.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Analytical skills for cost estimation and risk management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with proposal management software (e.g., Aconex, Procore, or similar) is a plus.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
