Job Description
Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on offshore mechanical equipment
Maintain and repair rotating and static equipment such as pumps, compressors, engines, valves, gearboxes, and turbines
Conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis of mechanical systems
Assist in equipment installation, commissioning, and decommissioning activities
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, health, and environmental (HSE) regulations
Prepare and complete maintenance reports, job cards, and work permits
Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and risk assessments
Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other technicians to ensure efficient operations
Ensure proper use, care, and storage of tools, equipment, and spare parts
Respond promptly to emergency repairs and operational issues offshore
Other Requirements
Technical Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related fieldMinimum 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician in offshore or oil & gas environments
Strong knowledge of offshore mechanical systems and maintenance practices
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Physically fit and able to work in offshore conditions
