Job Description
Prepare detailed lifting plans and method statements for all crane and rigging operations.
Conduct on-site risk assessments and ensure lifting activities are planned in line with safety and operational requirements.
Coordinate with rigging teams, crane operators, engineers, and project managers to ensure smooth execution of lifting operations.
Select appropriate lifting equipment and verify its certification and suitability.
Ensure all lifting plans comply with applicable legislation, industry standards (e.g., LOLER, ASME), and site-specific procedures.
Support toolbox talks and pre-lift meetings to communicate the lifting plan to relevant personnel.
Liaise with third-party equipment suppliers and lifting specialists as required.
Maintain accurate records of lifting plans, permits, and risk assessments.
Continuously review lifting procedures for improvements in safety and efficiency.
Other Requirements
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in lifting planning or heavy lifting operationsRelevant engineering or technical qualification
Certification in lifting operations (e.g., LOLER, CPCS, or equivalent)
Strong understanding of lifting equipment, rigging, and crane operations
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to interpret technical drawings and lifting plans
