Job Description
Plan and supervise all lifting operations, ensuring compliance with site safety protocols and regulations
Coordinate with lifting teams, crane operators, riggers, and site supervisors to execute lifting tasks safely
Ensure that lifting equipment and accessories are certified, inspected, and fit for use
Review lifting plans and risk assessments prior to execution
Monitor site conditions and lifting operations, making real-time adjustments to ensure safety
Enforce proper use of lifting gear and adherence to safe working loads
Conduct toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings
Maintain records and documentation of lifting operations and incidents (if any)
Other Requirements
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in lifting coordination or supervisionRecognized Lifting Supervisor/Coordinator certification
Sound knowledge of relevant lifting regulations (e.g., LOLER, OSHA, BS 7121)
Ability to read and interpret lifting plans and technical drawings
Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills
Physically fit and able to work in challenging site conditions
