Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Installation & Assembly: Install AC units (split, window, cassette, chillers, and central air systems) according to blueprints and manufacturer specifications.
- Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related faults and execute corrective repairs.
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance risks, clean coils, clear drain lines, and check thermostat calibrations.
- Quality Assurance & Safety: Ensure adherence to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) protocols, safely handle refrigerants, and perform onsite performance tests.
- Reporting & Inventory: Maintain accurate service records, log maintenance tasks, and submit material and spare parts requests to supervisors.
Other Requirements
HVAC Systems: Proficient in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting split units,VRV/VRF systems, AHUs, and FCUs.
Blueprints & Wiring: Competent in reading mechanical blueprints and wiring electrical control schematics.
Tools & Brazing: Skilled in using diagnostic manifolds, multi-meters, and executing copper pipe torch brazing.
Refrigerants: Trained in safe chemical handling, leak detection, vacuuming, and refrigerant recovery procedures.
