Recruitment and Onboarding:
Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating interview schedules.
Prepare and maintain job descriptions, offer letters, and employment contracts.
Coordinate new employee onboarding, including orientation sessions, completion of paperwork, and setting up necessary accounts or equipment.
Employee Records and Documentation:
Maintain and update employee records in HR systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, etc.) and ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
Assist in preparing and processing employee-related documentation, including promotions, transfers, terminations, and leave requests.
Ensure that all employee documents, such as contracts, performance reviews, and training certifications, are stored properly and are easily accessible.
Payroll and Benefits Administration:
Support the processing of payroll, including timekeeping, absence tracking, and preparing payroll reports for review.
Assist with the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-sponsored benefits.
Answer employee queries related to payroll, benefits, and HR policies.
Employee Relations:
Assist in resolving employee inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Help support employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, recognition programs, and events.
Maintain a positive working relationship with staff and provide general support regarding HR policies and procedures.
Compliance and Policy Support:
Ensure that the organization complies with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO).
Assist in maintaining and updating the employee handbook and HR policies to ensure they align with current laws and best practices.
Help coordinate annual audits for HR-related compliance and certifications.
Training and Development:
Coordinate training and development programs, including scheduling, logistics, and tracking employee participation.
Assist in the implementation of employee development initiatives and track employee progress.
Performance Management Support:
Assist in the performance management process, including tracking employee reviews, preparing feedback forms, and scheduling performance discussions.
Support the tracking and implementation of employee goals and development plans.
General HR Support:
Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including managing office supplies, organizing meetings, and preparing HR reports and presentations.
Assist in organizing employee events, wellness programs, and team-building activities.
Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed, such as diversity and inclusion programs, employee surveys, or culture-building efforts.
