Job Description

Monitor personnel entering and exiting confined spaces.

Maintain an accurate entry log and ensure the number of workers inside the space is known at all times.

Ensure all confined space permits are valid and displayed properly.

Verify that atmospheric testing is done and results are within acceptable limits.

Ensure continuous communication with workers inside the space.

Prevent unauthorized entry and enforce safety rules.

Raise alarm and initiate rescue procedures in case of emergencies (without entering the space).

Ensure all safety equipment, including ventilation and retrieval systems, is in place and operational.
