Job Description

Lawn Care and Maintenance:

Operate and maintain lawn mowers to cut grass to the required length and ensure evenness.
Trim grass along edges, fences, walkways, and other hard-to-reach areas using string trimmers or edgers.
Rake and remove grass clippings, leaves, and debris to maintain a neat appearance.
Ensure that lawns and other grassed areas are well-maintained and free of weeds, dead patches, or pests.
Equipment Operation and Maintenance:

Safely operate mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment, such as cleaning, lubricating, and checking for malfunctions.
Report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor and assist in arranging repairs or replacements.
General Groundskeeping Support:

Assist with other outdoor maintenance tasks such as planting, watering, mulching, and weeding.
Help with seasonal tasks, such as preparing lawns for winter or cleaning up after storms.
Ensure proper disposal of lawn waste in accordance with company or local regulations.
Safety and Compliance:

Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when operating machinery or handling chemicals.
Ensure the work area is free of hazards, such as rocks, sticks, or debris, before beginning mowing.
Maintain a safe and tidy work environment by cleaning up after each job and storing equipment properly.
Customer Service and Reporting:

Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or members of the public (if applicable).
Report any issues or concerns, such as areas needing attention or equipment problems, to the supervisor in a timely manner.
