Job Description

Assist surveyors in setting up, calibrating, and operating total stations, GPS equipment, levels, and other surveying tools.

Hold or move survey targets, rods, or prisms to aid in measurements.

Mark boundaries, reference points, and elevation levels at designated locations.

Clear vegetation or debris from survey sites as needed.

Record measurement data and notes as directed by the surveyor.

Load, unload, and transport equipment and supplies to and from job sites.

Maintain survey tools and ensure they are clean and in good working condition.

Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE on job sites.

Assist with calculations, site sketches, or basic drafting under supervision.

Communicate effectively with team members and report any issues or inconsistencies.
