Read and interpret structural drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and construction blueprints.
Cut, bend, and shape steel bars and mesh using manual tools or machinery.
Tie rebar together with wire, clips, or other fasteners to build reinforcement structures.
Position and secure steel bars or mesh in concrete forms before pouring.
Check spacing, alignment, and support according to project specifications.
Use appropriate tools (e.g., nips, pliers, cutters, bending machines) safely and efficiently.
Work with crane operators and other trades to place and install rebar.
Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean and hazard-free work area.
Report any issues or deviations to the supervisor promptly.
