Job Description

Perform welding operations as per approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).

Carry out structural, pipe, and plate welding using techniques such as SMAW, FCAW, GTAW, and MIG/MAG.

Interpret technical drawings, isometric drawings, and fabrication sketches.

Inspect and prepare materials and work areas before welding.

Conduct pre- and post-weld inspections and repairs as necessary.

Ensure compliance with offshore safety standards and permit-to-work systems.

Assist with installation, modification, and repair of offshore structures and pipe systems.

Maintain welding tools and equipment in good working condition.

Participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments, and daily safety briefings.

Adhere to company HSE policies and offshore safety procedures at all times.

Work closely with offshore fabricators, riggers, and supervisors to complete jobs efficiently and safely.
