Job Description

Read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and isometric sketches to perform mechanical fitting and assembly tasks.

Fit, align, and assemble pipe systems, structural frames, supports, and mechanical components (e.g., pumps, valves, gearboxes).

Carry out fabrication, cutting, grinding, and minor welding or tack welding where applicable.

Work with offshore riggers, welders, and engineers to ensure the accurate and safe installation of systems.

Inspect, test, and verify installed components against drawings and specifications.

Perform scheduled and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems.

Support hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing of installed pipework.

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, toolbox talks, and permit-to-work systems.

Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces to operational and safety standards.

Complete job cards, daily reports, and inspection checklists accurately.
